HOTEL LOS AMANTES, Oaxaca – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel's location was superb, offering easy access to the city center with great restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms were cozy, although being at street level could be noisy and dark without the atomizer. The service was basic but friendly. The dining options were excellent, especially with the local breakfast fare available. Overall, a well-located hotel with a few room-related challenges.

Being on the ground level on the streets, the room was dark due to the fact that opening the shutters and blinds would mean people seeing right into the room. Despite this, the location is very safe, well-guarded, and central to all food and activities in el centro, making it ideal for exploring the city. The service, while basic with minimal interactions and some noise disturbances after midnight, was satisfactory. The dining options were limited, but breakfast served across the street was excellent. A mixed bag in terms of value for money.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully designed with huge vaulted ceilings, and the bathroom had a fantastic tub for soaking. The only drawback was that our room was a bit dark being on street level, but overall, the design was exquisite.
